Christopher is a nationally board-certified and New York State licensed acupuncturist.

He received his Masters of Science in classical acupuncture at the Swedish Institute in NYC and continues his training under Jeffrey Yuen, 88th generation priest of the Jade Purity Sect of Taoism. He treated cancer patients with acupuncture at Cancer Support Network, an outpatient clinic affiliated with Sloan Kettering in New York City.

Christopher has recently been invited to join the faculty at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where he will teach Classical Diagnostic and Clinical Skills. He has also taught graduate classes, most recently at the New England School of Acupuncture–the oldest acupuncture school in the country. The New Age Health Spa invited him to lecture and give treatments.

He has also appeared on local radio and television interviews as well as two documentary films. The first was on a woman's experience living with cancer, entitled "Crazy Sexy Cancer", the other was on alternative medicine, entitled "The Miracle Herbs".

Prior to his studies in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Christopher graduated with a BA in psychology from Columbia University.

The Chinese character Ming is made up of the characters for the sun and the moon. It means that which is bright and often refers to the light of our lives. My teacher, Jeffrey Yuen, chose this classical character for me. He gave me this calligraphy when I began my acupuncture practice and I have treasured it ever since.
